CHARGES: Disorderly Conduct While Armed

49-year-old male

After an alert tone sounded, Madison Police responded to the 1800 block of Packers Avenue, reference a disturbance involving a knife.  Officers contacted a 49-year-old male outside the residence, who had a small amount of blood on his hand, and was claiming to be the victim.  The victim stated the suspect, later identified as Tonya Turner-Blake, was supposed to bring him the change back after she made a beer purchase with a $5 bill.  When he asked for his money, Turner-Blake allegedly pulled out a knife, and demanded he leave the residence.  There were also reports of the argument between the two parties involving a pair of gloves, but officers took Turner-Blake into custody on charges listed.  Turner-Blake did admit to having a knife, but stated she was only cutting onions with it during this episode.
