Tomas Campos-Aguilar, age 23, Madison
Suspect was arrested for domestic strangulation, disorderly conduct, battery, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property.

There was a potential for deadly force early this morning when a knife-wielding man advanced on police officers outside a Cypress way apartment. A neighbor had called the MPD after hearing yelling and screaming. Upon arrival, officers found a bloody woman outside of an apartment hold the door shut as someone appeared to be pulling from inside. They told her to take cover behind them. As she did, the suspect emerged and advanced on the officers. "Knife! Knife! Knife!" yelled one as he drew his service weapon. A second officer pushed the man back, creating distance. The knife was dropped and the man was arrested for a violent domestic assault.
