500 S Park Street


White Male, about 5'08", mid 30's, black facial hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black baseball hat. Suspect may have been armed with a handgun.

The victim in this incident called the Madison Police after being robbed.  The victim stated that he had left his residence and walked to the BP gas station on Park Street at West Washington Avenue.  After leaving the gas station, he was attacked from behind at a spot in between Mills Street and Brooks Street.  The victim stated that the suspect struck him in the head with a handgun and then demanded the victim's wallet.  The suspect took an undisclosed amount of US currency from the wallet and then fled the area. 

Aside from being hit by the suspect, the victim was otherwise uninjured.
