Incident Date

03/18/2019 - 1:07 AM

2300 block Fish Hatchery Rd.

Officers were sent to a parking lot behind a building in the 2300 block of Fish Hatchery Rd. early this morning for a report of an intoxicated and despondent woman with a knife inside a car. Officers were told she was suicidal. Upon arrival, they attempted to have her get out of the car. Instead, the 24-year-old from Sun Prairie drove into a parked car, and then at the officers. Eventually she hit one of their squad cars at a relatively slow speed. At that point, officers were able to get the woman out of her car. She was yelling, wanting the officers to shoot her. They consoled her, calming her down before taking her to jail on tentative charges of first degree reckless endangerment and resisting.
