Volunteering with Madison Senior Center
During this time there are a number of ways to volunteer that still allow for social distancing. Making cards, wellness calls, providing rides, running errands, and food delivery are just a few great options for keeping you and your family busy and helping.
Stay Connected
It so important that we stay connected to friends and family while we shelter at home. Social isolation is a real thing that can seriously effect your physical and mental health. In addition, during this pandemic, it's so important to have someone that you check in with daily, in case you do start to experience COVID-19 symptoms.
Stay Active
Physical activity is so important all of the time, but especially during stressful times like this pandemic. Get up an move around your apartment or house, step outside for a walk around the block or do a virtual exercise class. The choice is yours! Below are some links to free exercise programs. You can also sign up for virtual yoga or tai chi. Email Laura for information on registering.
As always, consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program.
