It so important that we stay connected to friends and family while we shelter at home. Social isolation is a real thing that can seriously effect your physical and mental health. In addition, during this pandemic, it's so important to have someone that you check in with daily, in case you do start to experience COVID-19 symptoms.
Physical activity is so important all of the time, but especially during stressful times like this pandemic. Get up an move around your apartment or house, step outside for a walk around the block or do a vitual exercise class. The choice is yours! Below are some links to free excercise programs.
As always, consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program.

Volunteering with Madison Senior Center
During this time there are a number of ways to volunteer that still allow for social distancing. Making cards, wellness calls, providing rides, running errands, and food delivery are just a few great options for keeping you and your family busy and helping. We have set up an online database for all these opportunities below. This document will be changing and adjusting with new information so check back often and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. Jweichelt@cityofmadison.com or 267-2344.
