Look up your Collection Schedule
Looking for the version of the collection calendar you can print?

The next two collection dates will pop up.
Under the next two dates, you will see a link that says "Full collection schedule."
Click that link. The full year calendar for your home will open up.

First, try scrolling down to see if the correct year is on page 2.
If that doesn't work, you need to do what's called a "hard refresh" on your web browser . Sometimes files get stuck, or "cached," from the last time you visited a page, and they need to be cleared out.
The steps to perform a "hard refresh" depends on your web browser. You will need to look up the specific steps for the one you are using.

Trash
Put your trash in the tan cart. We collect trash every week. See the trash guidelines for more details.
Recycling
Put your recycling in the green cart. We collect recycling every other week.
Recycling is required in Madison. Do not put recyclable items in the trash. See the recycling guidelines for more details.
Large Items
Large items (like mattresses, appliances, and furniture) require a work order.
Set the items out on the date you pick in your work order. Collection happens during the work week following your set-out Sunday.

Holidays
We do not perform collections on City holidays. Our drop-off sites and offices are also closed.
