Monona Golf Course, a 9-hole regulation course, is located on Madison's eastside. The par-36 course features well bunkered fairways and greens. It also has an excellent driving range with all natural grass tees. Monona offers a fully equipped clubhouse. In addition, this an excellent facility for small company or convention outings.

Meet the Pros

Theran Steindl Golf Operations Supervisor (East)

Theran Steindl

Theran is the Golf Operations Supervisor for City of Madison East Golf Courses: Yahara Hill and Monona. He is graduate of San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC where he earned a degree in Business and Facility Management. Theran has worked in the golf business since 2004 at various location and positions. Before working with Golf Madison Parks he worked as the Head Professional at Glen Erin Golf Club and Head Professional / General Manager at Towne Country Club. Theran has been involved with extensive golf instruction from beginner to Division 1 college golfers alike and played competitively for many years. With training in instruction with Natural Golf he is able to help golfers with disabilities and special needs by utilizing their specific strengths to optimize their games. In his off time from golf he enjoys playing competitive hockey and watching his beloved Badgers.

Tina Lindsey LPGA Assistant Golf Professional, Monona Golf Course

Tina Lindsey

As a 20+ year LPGA Professional Golf Instructor with experience developing all levels, abilities and ages, Tina works hard to marry passion and skill in your game. Tina was the former Director of Instruction with the Links of Ireland Grove Golf Academy. She is a Class A Member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP). She was a 4 year NCAA Division I athlete at Illinois State University where she was awarded Female Athlete of the year. Tina was inducted into the Illinois State University Athletic Hall of Fame and named to the Missouri Valley Conference All Centennial Team.

Tina is the Girls and Boys Head Golf Coach at Madison East High School. She has successfully led her team to the Regionals and an individual golfer to Sectional play. Tina is looking forward to bringing her expertise and knowledge of both the business and game of golf to Monona Golf Course and is excited to meet all of the new and returning Monona golfers!

Interested in joining a Men's Golf Association this year? The Odana Hills Men's Association is having a spring recruitment meeting on Friday, March 31st at 5:00pm at the Odana Hills Clubhouse. Even if you are just curious, come check it out, meet with some of the members and see if the OHGA is a fit for you in 2017!
