Monona Golf Course, a 9-hole regulation course, is located on Madison's eastside. The par-36 course features well bunkered fairways and greens. It also has an excellent driving range with all natural grass tees. Monona offers a fully equipped clubhouse. In addition, this an excellent facility for small company or convention outings.

Meet the Pros
Theran Steindl Madison Parks Head Golf Professional (East)
Theran is the Head Golf Professional for City of Madison East Golf Courses: Yahara Hill and Monona. He is graduate of San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC where he majored in Business and Facility Management. Theran has worked in the golf business for nine years at various location and positions. Most recently as the Head Professional at Glen Erin Golf Club and Head Professional / General Manager at Towne Country Club. Theran has been involved with extensive golf instruction from beginner to Division 1 college golfers alike. With training in instruction with Natural Golf he is able to help golfers with disabilities and special needs by utilizing their specific strengths to optimize their games. Nick Winters Assistant Golf Professional, Monona Golf Course
Nick is a graduate from UW Oshkosh. He attained his BBA with an emphasis on Economics. Nick has been working the golf industry since 2006 and learned the game and business of golf from the ground up, working on the range, pro shop, and maintenance staff for ten years at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Fond du Lac. Nick received his first experience as an Assistant Golf Professional last year with Bull's Eye Country Club in Wisconsin Rapids. Nick played high school and college golf at a high level, and also competed in the National Optimist Tournament as a junior. Nick has a strong passion for the game, and is very excited to be working with the City of Madison Golf Courses this summer.

Men's City Public Links Tournament Entries Now Open!
The City of Madison Golf Courses are pleased to announce the 88th playing of the Men's City Public Links Tournament. Entries are now open by printing the sign up sheet at the link below and bringing it to any of the City of Madison Golf Course Pro Shops or by stopping in and filling one out.
If you are a public golf course player and have a valid WSGA Handicap through any public golf course in Wisconsin, you are eligible to play. There are 5 flights based on your handicap, so no matter your skill level, you will compete with other golfers within the same handicap range. As an added bonus, champions from the Championship, A Flight and B Flight will be invited to play with PGA Head Golf Professional, Ryan Brinza, FOR FREE in the Bulls Eye Pro-Am at Bulls Eye Country Club on September 19th.
