I was a bit flabbergasted when I read the summary of the seatbelt enforcement grants on Hwy 51 at Commercial Avenue and a second operation at N. Thompson at Hwy 30, this morning. There were 55 traffic stops made for seatbelt violations! Just a reminder, they are not just for looks, they are required by law.
