WEST DISTRICT
The West District covers the area to the west of Speedway, Nakoma Rd., and Seminole Highway. It extends south to Highway PD, and is bordered roughly on the west by the Beltline Highway.

The Elver Park fireworks and July 4th celebration will be held this Friday, July 3rd – starting at 5pm. Madison Police are committed to keeping this event safe for families and we will staff the event with the same number of officers as we have in the past.
The traffic plan will be the same as the last two years. If you live near the park, please watch for the “No Parking” signs that went up today. These postings are made in an effort to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow in the area of Elver Park. The no parking rules for the event will be in effect from 11:00am on July 3rd, until 3:00am on July 4th.
