HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The City of Madison administrative offices, including offices of the City Council, are closed on:

  • Monday, May 27, 2013

City offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

All emergency services will be open:
please call 911.

  • If it is an emergency water issue: please call Madison Water Utility at (608) 266-4665, 24/7.
  • If it is a Sanitary Sewer Back-up: Call: (608) 266-4430. An emergency crew will respond to your call.
  • If you need to Report a Problem: which can wait until the next City working day, please go to Report a Problem.

STREETS & RECYCLING SCHEDULE

There will be no refuse, large item or recycling collection on Monday, May 27th because of the Memorial Day holiday.

If your material is normally collected on Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday, May 28th.

We will also be collecting material in the Tuesday area on the 28th so make sure you have your material out by 7am to insure collection.


The Streets Division's offices and self help drop off sites will be closed on May 27th.

MODIFIED SERVICES

City Operated Ramps & Metered On-Street Parking

City operated ramps and garages are open and enforced 24/7, including Sundays and Holidays. Meters located on City streets are enforced from 8am - 6pm, Monday through Saturday. Many parking meters note that they are not enforced on "City Holidays."
