How do you get graffiti removed from private properties such as railroad cars, warehouses, retail stores, or private residences? By reporting graffiti immediately, Building Inspection staff will work with property owners to seek its removal. Report Graffiti on private property by calling in the specific street address and describe the location of the graffiti on the building or other structure. The City of Madison also has a program, Graffiti Co-Pay Removal Program, that helps property owners cover the cost of graffiti removal.
