Citizens may call the Speeding Hotline to report areas where speeding is a problem. The Police Department will respond to this by notifying the appropriate Police District so officers can be assigned to do enforcement in those areas. In many cases, if the neighborhood association can provide a license plate number, time, date, location and type of violation, a letter may be sent to the owner advising them of the complaint.
