The new
paving and landscape design will highlight both pedestrian safety and
character of the State Street experience. The design will emphasize
quality and durability of materials while recognizing the importance of
creating visual interest.
The Design Team has been testing several paving materials in the 400 Block of State Street to determine viability and aesthetics. Where possible, Healthy trees will be preserved along the length of State Street and new landscaping will be incorporated throughout the design.
