Kids to Kids Garage Sale

What is the Kids to Kids Garage Sale?

The City of Madison Parks will host its first Kids to Kids Garage Sale.  Youth will be selling their own items to other kids.  This is a great way to find deals on slightly used clothes, games, books, toys, electronics, puzzles, etc.  This event is free and open to the public.

 

Location

The Kids to Kids Garage Sale will be held in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Madison, WI.   Event is adjacent to Capitol Square and Saturday's Farmers' Market.

Hay Rides

After shopping at the Kids to Kids Garage Sale, enjoy a hay ride around the Capitol Square.  Rides are $2/person.

Madison Mallards

The Madison Mallards will be in attendance with activities, an appearance by Maynard, and selling lemonade.  Later that night, enjoy Madison Parks night at the Duck Pond in Warner Park.  Game starts at 6:05p.m.


Registration

Thank you to everyone who has registered their kids for this event.  We have reached capacity for the event and are no longer accepting registrations.

Parking

There are a couple of options for parking close the Kids to Kids Garage Sale:

  • Government East Ramp, 215 S. Pinckney St. Entrances at 200 S. Pinckney St., 100 E. Wilson St. Cashiered / Pay Station / Pay-on-Foot Spaces.

  • MONONA TERRACE, One John Nolen Drive.
    Cashier-operated parking structure; enter from West Wilson Street, just south of Carroll Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, or from the eastbound lanes of John Nolen Dr.

  • CAPITOL SQUARE SOUTH RAMP (Dane County Parking Ramp) 113 S. Henry St.  Metered, enforced 24/7 including holidays. Bill changer near northeast stairwell on street level (floor 3).
