On Monday, June 14th, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Officers from the Madison Police Department conducted an enhanced enforcement project on Stoughton Rd, between Cottage Grove Rd and Milwaukee St, focussing on speeding and seat belt use.
During this project a total of 23 stops were conducted for speeding. All vehicles stopped were traveling at least 14 MPH over the speed limit and the highest recorded speed was 86 MPH.
