On Friday, June 18th, from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., Officers from the Madison Police Depeartment conducted an enhanced enforcement project in the area of E Washington Ave and Ingersol St, focussing on OWI and other hazardous driving behaviors.
During this project a total of 15 stops were conducted, 11 of which were for speeding. All speeding violations were for at least 15 MPH over the speed limit with 53 MPH being the highest recorded speed.
