On Thursday, 7/22/21, Officers from the Madison Police Department conducted an enhanced enforcement project on S Stoughton Rd near Milwaukee St. During this project officers were focussing on speeding and other hazardous violations.
During the project officers conducted a total of 27 stops, with 1 vehicle fleeing from officers. All of the stops were for speeding violations. Officers noted several high speed violations during the project with 5 vehicles stopped for traveling at least 23 MPH over the posted speed limit (55 MPH).
