As you walk by (or bike or drive) you don't realize that this is an entrance to Vilas Park. To me, this entrance should stand out. There is a path leading to the bike path. However, it is unremarkable - no interesting features to attract you or pull you into this area. The most visible feature is the No Dog allow sign on the telepone post.
