The Streets Division will continue collect Christmas trees for recycling. Our final round of collection has been delayed due to the large volume of storm damaged tree limbs we collected during the first round of collection. Now our progress has been set back due to the high number of snow events that we have had to deal with. Snow and ice operations always take priority over tree collection.
Please help us out by digging your tree out of snow piles if possible. It is our intention to continue to collect Christmas trees until we have gotten through the entire city for a second round. At this time, we cannot predict when we will be able to complete the collection due to weather conditions. We appreciate your patience.
Note: We will also be collecting limbs and branches brought down by the December blizzard as part of this collection. Please refer to the rules for brush collection for proper preparation of limbs and branches. Brush Rules
