Located on the east side near Oscar Mayer and East High School, Demetral Park features a reservable shelter, playground and a fenced-in dog exercise area.  Demetral Park is a popular location for softball and kickball.

Please note, alcohol is prohibited in the Demetral Park shelter and a fifty (50) foot radius surrounding the shelter, except by permit with the prior approval of the Parks Division.

In 2010 -  McCormick Greenspace Dog Park and Demetral Park join Madison's other four popular off-leash dog parks. Brittingham Park, Quann Park, Sycamore Park and Warner Park all provide great places for dogs and their human companions to enjoy exercise and the outdoors together.
