***SEX OFFENDER NOTIFICATION: 900 W BADGER RD***

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections recently notified the Madison Police Department that a registered sex offender would be moving into an apartment in the 900 block of W. Badger Road.  When MPD receives these DOC notifications, a review is made of the offenders past criminal behavior, and an assessment is made as to level of notification to the community.  Based on this specific offenders past history, officers from the South Police District have been distributing the attached flier to nearby schools, youth centers and apartment buildings.

Please contact Captain Joe Balles at the South Police District via e-mail (jballes@cityofmadison.com) or phone at 608-267 8687 if you have further questions.
