Please Note: All Bids MUST be received by 1:00 P.M. on the noted Received Date to be considered for bidding. All Bids will be OPENED at 1:30 P.M. on the noted OPEN DATE.
- Proposed Bidding Schedule
April 9, 2013: The City of Madison is pleased to announce the implementation of electronic plan and specification distribution and on-line bidding through Bid Express.
Plans and Specifications for contracts are now posted at Bid Express (bidexpress.com). Clicking on "Bid Express" link in the documents column will direct you to that website.
First time users will be prompted to register with Bid Express. Please follow the prompts. If your company intends to bid on-line, you must complete the steps of obtaining a Digital ID.
Registering with Bid Express is required if you are interested in viewing plans and specifications. There is no cost to view plans or specifications. There is a fee if your company submits a bid online.
The plan holders list may be signed electronically from the Public Works Open for Bid webpage (this web page). To do so, click on the contract number link in the Plan Holders column and follow the prompts.
Also, please note that the implementation of on-line bidding changes the prequalification deadline. Prequalification must be submitted one week prior to the bid due date.
