Notices & Other Announcements:

  • Our popular high-efficiency toilet rebate program still has funds available for new applications (July 9, 2010).  However, funding may be exhausted before the end of the year, so interested customers should not wait to submit applications.  For more information, click on the links at the bottom of this page.
  • Attention business and other commercial water customers:  We now have available a booklet entitled "WaterSmart Guidebook for Businesses, Water Saving Technologies for Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Properties."  Provided by the Alliance for Water Efficiency library, this 242-page resource is available for download free of charge as a pdf (3.8MB)
  • To read Questions and Answers about the Water Utility's most recent rate case, click here.  New rates became effective in April.
  • The Water Utility has added a new service for our customers!  An after-hours payment box is now located at the front door of our office at 119 E Olin Avenue.  Billing Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Payments can also be made online using debit or credit cards at www.madisonpay.com

High Efficiency Toilet Rebate Program

The Madison Water Utility is offering rebates of up to $100 for both residential customers and apartment building landlords who replace their high water volume toilets with EPA WaterSense-rated High Efficiency Toilet (HET) models.
