The largest of all Madison Community Parks, Elver Park spans an impressive 227 acres in the southwest corner of the city.  Here, you find a great breadth of recreational features offered throughout the year.  During the summer, the disc golf course becomes the park's most unique feature, but the softball diamonds, soccer fields, and reservable shelters are all very popular and delightful.  Winter enthusiasts enjoy the ice-skating and hockey rinks, sledding hill, and particularly the lighted cross-country ski trials.  Whether it is an intense game of disc golf with friends or a reflective walk through woods and open spaces, you can always find something worthwhile at Elver Park.

The approved splash park will include construction of an approximately 3000 square foot interactive water attraction featuring spray toys and fountains for children of all ages. Like the Cypress Spray Park located on the city's south side, this will be a free, public facility open during summer months beginning in August 2014. The approved splash park will include water conserving equipment such as a recirculating water capture and reuse system which will treat and reuse splash park water within the system, along with associated amenities for the splash park area.
