The week of August 21 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Sustainable Madison Committee, the Committee on the Environment, a Neighborhood Informational Meeting--Development Proposal to Demolish Four Homes at 7 & 11 N Franklin and 502 & 506 E Washington and Construct an Extended Stay Hotel, the Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission, and the Board of Public Works. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Please join Michael Metzger of the McGrath Property Group and me for a neighborhood meeting where we will hear about a proposal to demolish four homes (11 N Franklin, 7 N Franklin, 502 E Washington, 506 E Washington) to construct an extended stay hotel consisting of 50-60 units and 16-20 parking stalls. The current plan includes one level of underground parking and 5 floors of units/lobby above ground. The ground floor may have a commercial/retail component.
