Data Snapshot

Highlights from this week’s Data Snapshot are found in our weekly Data Notes Blog Post:

  • This period there was an average of 43 cases per day, which is the lowest average since August.

  • Over the past four weeks, cases have decreased among ages 12-29 and 40-49 and remained stable among all other age groups.

  • 61.8% of Dane County residents have at least one dose of vaccine, which is the highest in the state.

  • People ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive vaccine.

 

Vaccination Summary

  • As of May 13, we have administered 71,135 doses at the Alliant Energy Center.

  • As of yesterday, Wisconsin vaccinators are able to vaccinate people 12-15 with the Pfizer vaccine. We encourage folks to check with their doctor’s office or local pharmacy, stop by a pop-up clinic offering Pfizer vaccine, or make an appointment with us at Alliant Energy Center.

  • Visit publichealthmdc.com/appt to book an appointment for vaccine at Alliant Energy Center or drop-in during clinic hours.

Testing Summary (May 7 – May 13)

  • 2,066 tests were conducted at the Alliant Energy Center testing site. 421,694 tests have been conducted since May 2020.

  • 164 PCR tests were conducted at the South Madison Testing site. 12,511 tests have been conducted since August.
