Engine 1, Ladder, 1, Car 31, and other crews were dispatched to a grocery store on University Avenue. A electrical outlet in a box next to freezers was overheating. The store employees discharged a extinguisher on it, but it continued to overheat. The crew located the bank of breakers in the basement and shut it off. As Ladder 1’s crew ventilated the building, the manager arrived and they brought him up to speed. After arriving back at Station 1, the Lieutenant made contact with a employee of the Health Department and informed them of the situation.
