FEBRUARY 12-16 CONSERVATION WORK IMPACTING SKI TRAILS:Madison Parks has contracted Cardno, Inc. to remove invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle from selected areas within Cherokee Marsh – South Unit. Work is scheduled to occur Februrary 12 - 16, 2018 and it is anticipated that crews will complete the eastern areas shown below, and then proceed to the western area (or vice versa). Unfortunately, they need to access the work areas with vehicles via the trail system. We will try to groom the trail that week after they move from one end to the other, in order to provide the greatest amount of undisturbed, groomed trail.
Please contact Paul Quinlan, Conservation Resource Supervisor, at 267-4918 with any questions, and thank you for understanding.
