The week of November 26 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Sustainable Madison Committee; the Finance Committee; the Neighborhood Meeting - 2019 N Ingersoll, Elizabeth and Jean St Reconstruction; the Downtown Coordinating Committee; the Urban Forestry Task Force; the Madison Police Department Policy & Procedure Review Ad Hoc Committee; and the Task Force on the Structure of City Government Common Council Subcommittee. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Amending the “City of Madison TIF Loan Underwriting Policy” and “City of Madison TIF Goals, Objectives, and Process” dated February 25, 2014 with changes to the “Jobs Project” section (aka Jobs TIF); and, directing staff to prepare program guidelines for a new “Small Cap” Business TIF Program targeted at small businesses.

The City of Madison is planning a 2019 reconstruction project on N. Ingersoll Street, Elizabeth Street, and Jean Street. The proposed project will include removal and replacement of roadway pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk and drive aprons. Water main, sanitary sewer and storm sewer will also be replaced as part of the reconstruction project.   This project will include assessments to adjacent property owners. This meeting is being held to provide information and to obtain neighborhood input on the project and to answer any questions.
