Building Inspection is open to the public by appointment only.

In-person Training

We hold electrical trainings every year. Our trainings provide six hours of continuing education credits for:

  • Master, Journeymen, and Registered electricians

  • Commercial / UDC inspectors

You must attend both sessions to get credit. We do not provide partial credit. Apart from our staff, we also have guest speakers.

2024 training

Location: Bowl-a-Vard, 2121 East Springs Dr. Madison, WI 53704

When: 5:00 - 8:30 pm

Cost: $120 (Dinner included both nights). 10% discount for groups of 10 - 19 people. 15% discount for groups of 20 or more.

Inclement weather policy: Seminars will only be rescheduled if Bowl-A-Vard closes or the City of Madison closes due to extreme cold or blizzard.
