Unauthorized Burning on the Eastside

Ladder 8 responded to a complaint for unauthorized burning. On arrival, L8 found the homeowner burning a small amount of construction material in a small metal container. Container did not have a lid. There was a hose nearby and charged. L8 explained to the woman about the burning regulations and she agreed to have the fire extinguished. The burn was in her backyard away from any structure or other combustibles.
