Celebrate National Senior Center Month with the Madison Senior Center

The Madison Senior Center will host its first annual Health & Resource Fair on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am in celebration of National Senior Center month. Learn about the latest trends in health and wellness, receive free screenings, and discover new resources for residential living and retirement planning. The Fair will benefit older adults, age 55 plus, with a variety of FREE health screenings, health-related presentations, a lunch option, and afternoon games including bingo. There will be wonderful door prizes and great giveaways. Don't miss these important screenings: Adverse Drug Events-UW Pharmacy; Bladder Health Questionnaire-Dean Clinic; Blood Glucose-Group Health Cooperative; Body Composition/Toxicity Screening-Pro Health Chiropractic; Bone Density-UW Osteoporosis Program; Eye Pressure Test-Davis Duehr Dean; Falls Prevention/Strengthening and Hearing/Swallow Testing-Meriter Hospital; FoodShare Eligibility-Second Harvest Foodbank; Oral Health-Department of Public Health; Pulse Oximetry Screening, Blood Pressure and Gait Devices-Home Health United and Spinal Screening-Wait Chiropractic.
