Madison Fire Department Administration is Moving

Administrative Offices to be Moved as part of W. Johnson St. Development

The City of Madison Fire Department Administrative Offices will move to a new location at 30 W. Mifflin Street in July. The old Administration building at 325 W. Johnson St. will close at the end of the business day on Monday, July 22, and the new office will open to the public Tuesday morning, July 23. The new offices are conveniently located on the Capitol Square, on the 8th and 9th floors of the 30 W. Mifflin office building, which also houses the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. The Fire Prevention Division, which includes Fire Inspection, Elevator Inspection, Fire Protection System Plan Review & Engineering, and Community Education, will occupy the 9th floor, while the fire chiefs' offices will be located on the 8th floor. Fire Administration will continue to offer the same services and face-to-face assistance in the new location. In addition, all phone & fax numbers will remain the same.
