Shorewood Hills Fire Protection News Conference

Village of Shorewood Hills and City of Madison officials will hold a news conference to discuss the village's fire protection agreement. The news conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2 at the Shorewood Hills Fire Station, 1008 Shorewood Blvd. Under the agreement developed earlier this year, the City of Madison Fire Department will provide advanced life support service, fire protection, and fire prevention services for the Village of Shorewood Hills starting October 1. Shorewood Hills Village President Mark Sundquist, Village Administrator Karl Frantz, and Fire Chief Keith Anderson will be joined by City of Madison Mayor Paul Soglin and Fire Chief Steve Davis to provide information on the agreement and answer any questions. Firefighters and paramedics from nearby City of Madison Fire Station 9 will be in attendance to meet village staff and residents.
