Get Your Play On in Madison Parks

posted

July is National Park and Recreation Month and Madison Parks is celebrating all month long! Discover the power of play and adventure in parks through a variety of park events and activities planned by Madison Parks and Madison School and Community Recreation.

For children and adults, play is a vital part of our mental wellbeing, physical health and personal interactions. During Park and Recreation Month, in collaboration with the National Recreation & Park Association, we are challenging everyone to get their play on with your local parks. Discover your play-full side with Madison Parks!

The month kicks off with a free day on the lakes. A Lake Access Permit is typically required to access the lakes through Madison Parks boat launch site. On Saturday, July 1 patrons can enjoy a free, fun day on the water – no permit required!
