Street Closures--700 E Main Street & 100 S Livingston Street

The American Transmission Company will close segments of East Main Street and South Livingston Street on Wednesday, September 4 in order to move a damaged transformer from the Blount Street Substation to the Madison Gas & Electric coal yard.  Here is a schedule of the closure:

• 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. East Main Street closed between Blount Street and Livingston Street
• 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  South Livingston Street closed between East Main Street and the Capital City Trail  (all access to/from Livingston Street Parking Garage will be from East Main Street driveway)
• 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  South Livingston Street closed between the South Livingston Street Parking Garage  driveway and the Capital City Trail. 

When the driveway to the South Livingston Street Parking Garage is closed at Livingston Street, parking garage users will have to use the driveway on East Main Street. 

Turning movements to/from the 10 block of S Livingston Street and the 800 block of E Main Street will remain open at all times.
