Earth Day Events in Madison Parks

posted

This weekend, April 22 and 23 celebrate Earth Day with Madison Parks, the Friends of Urban Nature and volunteers across the city.

On Saturday, April 22, join neighbors and friends at the Earth Day Challenge. For more than 20 years, Madison Parks has honored Earth Day by recruiting volunteers for parks across the city. Volunteers are still needed and may register up until the event, or go directly to a participating park to assist with trash pickup, raking, weeding, removing sticks, and more. Trash bags and gloves are supplied at all locations and all ages are welcome to participate.
