Madison Parks Foundation Unveils Dog Park Memorial Art Sculpture

posted

The Madison Parks Foundation is excited to announce the unveiling of a new tribute & memorial sculpture in Quann Park off-leash dog park! Madison Parks Foundation continues its efforts in making positive impacts in our community and in our parks with the donation of a custom sculpture that will serve as a memorial to honor dogs and the parks they love so much.

Join Madison Parks Foundation, the City of Madison, and Madison Parks on Sunday, April 30 from 11 am to 1 pm, Quann Park, 1802 Quann-Olin Pkwy. There will be food trucks and local dog-friendly partners with goodies for you and your furry friends.

Those who are interested can celebrate their pet with a tag on Madison's first Dog Park Tribute and Memorial Sculpture.  The “Furever Tags” are $100 and will be mounted to the memorial art sculpture.

Thanks to the generosity of Pet Supplies Plus – Fitchburg, the income from the tags will help the Madison Parks Foundation enhance our current dog parks and increase acreage with future dog parks in Madison.

The Madison Parks Foundation continues its efforts in making positive impacts in our community and in our parks. Our vision is to make it easier than ever for all people to feel welcome in and enjoy
Madison’s 280 public parks and greenspaces. Making our parks “accessible” means addressing physical, cognitive, and socioeconomic obstacles that keep people from reaching and enjoying our parks.
