The sun is back - so are the hot temperatures. Get outside and have some fun! Goodman Pool is open! If you haven't visited Goodman Pool - don't wait any longer! Recreation Swim times are: Monday - Thursday, 12:30p.m. - 4:30p.m. & 6:15p.m. - 8p.m.; Friday, noon - 8p.m. and Saturday/Sunday, noon - 7p.m. There are still two sessions of Swimming Lessons this summer! Make sure your children learn a skill that will stay with them for a lifetime! The Goodman Pool staff is committed to quality and safety. All of the instructors are certified American Red Cross Water Safety instructors and lifeguards. Sign up today. Thursday, August 4th, 1-3p.m. Vilas Zoo Day Take your picture with the Vilas Zoo Mascot, Henry the Lion, and get some cool animal trading cards! And register to win a birthday party package from Vilas Zoo. After you've spent the day swimming at Goodman Pool, bring your family down to Vilas Beach for an evening Beach Party! Wingra Boats & the Madison Parks Division invites you to come down to the beach for an evening of fun! A local DJ will be spinning family friendly dance music and we'll supply some beach games such as, ladder golf, Baggo, and limbo. We'll also be hosting a 16 team greased watermelon polo competition. Adult teams are encouraged to pre-register at the Wingra Boats-Vilas Beach House to secure their spot. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Bring your family, friends, and a beach blanket and enjoy games, dancing, and a night at the beach. Please note swimming and boating will not be permitted.
