Metro Detours from St. Patrick's Day Downtown Events - Saturday, March 17

Metro will detour around St. Patrick's Day events in the downtown area on Saturday, March 17. CAPITOL LOOP DETOUR Start of Service - 3:10 PM Buses will detour to a modified version of the Capitol Loop from the start of service until 3:10 PM. Due to construction, W. Washington Ave. will be closed to westbound traffic between Fairchild and Carroll streets. N. Fairchild between Mifflin St. and W. Washington Ave. will also be closed. LOWER STATE ST. DETOUR Start of Service until Noon Due to the Shamrock Shuffle Run, Routes 4 and 6 detour from the 500-600 block of State St. (lower State St.) from start of service until approximately 12:00 PM. Buses use Johnson and Gorham streets during this time. ROUTE 80 DETOUR 10 AM - 12 PM Also due to the Shamrock Shuffle Run, Route 80 buses will not be able to serve Observatory Dr., Linden Dr., or Park St. from 10 AM - 12 PM.
