Final public meeting to review preliminary designs for expanded library and neighborhood center

Join staff from Meadowridge Library and the Meadowood Neighborhood Center and architects from Engberg Anderson for final meeting in a series of three meetings to gather public input on an expanded Meadowridge Library and Community Center. The third meeting is Thursday, June 20 from 6:30- 8:30 pm at the former Ace Hardware store next to the Meadowridge Library at 5740 Raymond Road. This meeting will feature the preferred design option with a public opportunity to offer final feedback on the design. The design was developed with feedback from the first two meetings, held on May 9 and June 6. The expansion of the Meadowridge Library and Meadowood Neighborhood Center offers both agencies the opportunity to increase their own spaces and provide a shared space for community programs, meetings, and computer lab. The expansion and co-location will allow the library and the neighborhood center the opportunity to develop collaborative programs that will benefit both organizations and better serve neighborhood residents. The project is expected to go to bid in August 2013 and construction to begin by the end of the year.
