Group meeting
You're invited to participate in another District 11 Town Hall meeting at the Sequoya Library on Thursday, September 8th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. At our last meeting we were joined by Traffic Engineering and Madison Police. This month we will break into working groups to discussion making our streets safer and identify traffic calming strategies we would like to see installed in our neighborhoods.

Where: Sequoya Library , 4340 Tokay Blvd

When: Thursday, September 8, 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Examples of traffic calming strategies might include:

  • Medians and Refuge Islands
  • Speed Humps
  • Mini Roundabouts
  • Flashing beacons
  • Radar signs
  • Raised Crosswalks
  • Two-lane slow point
  • Tree-lined streets

Take this opportunity to meet with neighbors to help make our district a safer place to walk, bike, bus, and drive.
