February 1964: The Beatles Conquer America

February 1964 was the most important month of the Beatles' entire career. It firmly established Beatlemania in the US, highlighted by three performances on The Ed Sullivan Show. This 60-minute multimedia program will put the Beatles' first U.S. visit in musical and historical context. Join Aaron Krerowicz, Master’s of Music in composition and one of two professional Beatles scholars in the world, on Friday, June 19 at 1 pm.

Meet the Author: Lenore McComas Coberly

Poet Lenore McComas Coberly is native to West Virginia, but currently lives in Madison. In her new book, dedicated to her late husband, Coberly writes of an "ordinary late afternoon." She will read from For I Am Mountainborn on Tuesday, June 9 at 1 pm.
