MFD, DOT Promote Halloween Safety for Trick-or-Treaters

The City of Madison Fire Department is partnering with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to help trick-or-treaters stay safe on their rounds Halloween night. The DOT is providing flashing reflector lights to help children be more visible to drivers. The lights will be distributed at all Madison fire stations beginning Saturday morning, October 26 between 9 and 11 a.m. Residents may also stop by to get the reflectors after school Monday through Wednesday between 3 and 5 p.m.
