Candlelight Ski at Odana Hills Golf Course

Are you new to cross-country skiing? Or are you an old pro at this winter sport? Madison Parks invites you to get outside and enjoy the quiet beauty of winter with the Candlelight Cross-Country Ski event. This unique opportunity will be hosted at the Odana Hills Golf Course on Saturday, February 1, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Participants will be cross-country skiing on a groomed trail filled with over 200 candles and luminaries to light the way.
This Candlelight Ski will feature two ski route options: a 1.5 mile loop for the daring ones and a shorter, 3/4 mile loop as well. Both ski trails will be lined with candles and luminaries to create an experience filled with the warmth of a candlelight glow. Refreshments, including hot chocolate, will be available for purchase inside the heated shelter building. There will also be an outdoor camp fire provided for everyone to warm up by and enjoy the night.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own skis, if possible. There will be limited ski rentals available at the Odana Hills Golf Course. Standard ski rental rates will apply. 1st hour (includes daily pass): Adults $9, Children (14 & under) $5. Additional hours: $5. Madison Parks appreciates attendees leaving pets, sleds, and snowshoes at home.
