Work is complete on the 2018 Eken Park landscaping project under the Neighborhood Planning Grant received through CDBG funding!
Contractor Living Landscapes LLC, who submitted the lowest bid received under the Request for Quotes (RFQ) totaling $24,797.00, completed installation work at the site with the addition of the two benches the week of July 2nd after having earlier completed the installation of the boulder, landscaping and associated sitework with subcontractor Raymond J Cattell who installed the concrete components. The work to install the plaque detailing history of the Eken Park neighborhood on the boulder was completed in August by Pechmann Memorials.
Living Landscapes LLC will continue to maintain the plants installed under the project throughout the 2018 growing seasons, with maintenance completed on December 1, 2018. The Eken Park Neighborhood Association will then assume responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the installation under the Neighborhood Planning Grant Agreement.
