Located on the northeast side of Madison, the WPCRC is a multi-purpose, state of the art public facility for community activities including recreational, educational and cultural programs and events.

The facility includes a gymnasium, fully equipped exercise room, game room and dry and wet craft rooms. Meeting rooms and beautiful community rooms are available to rent for banquets, company gatherings, weddings, birthday parties, etc.

Madison School Community Recreation (MSCR) provides various classes and programs and the North/Eastside Senior Coalition provides a nutrition site with other programs and events for seniors.

Physician: Dr. F. Bradford Meyers, MD practices in the Family Medicine Department at Dean Clinic-East in Madison.  His interests include preventive medicine, health maintenance, and chronic disease management. Dr. Meyers will be accompanied by his wife, Gretchen Geist, RN, MSN, who is a nurse educator and Family Nurse Practitioner student.

Topic: Diabetes: Prevention & Management

Join Dr. Meyers, rain or shine, for an invigorating spring walk through Tenney Park.  Dr. Meyers and Gretchen Geist, RN, MSN will lead a discussion on diabetes with an emphasis on prevention.  They will touch on diabetes management as well, so come with questions!  After the discussion Dr. Meyers will lead a walk down the winding trails of Tenney Park and the Yahara River. Enjoy the sights and sounds of spring!
