This is an introductory Spanish course that emphasizes the development of basic communicative skills through practice in listening and speaking. Reading and writing will also be introduced. The curriculum of this course will be based on a selection of various general topics such as: greetings, basic expressions, numbers, traveling, telling time, etc.
This is course is offered over a period of 9 sessions. A free Spanish book is provided. You are required to return or pay a book fee of $20 if you miss 3 or more classes.
