The Madison Police Department will host a 4-day course to prepare you to pass the Federal Aviation Administration's Part 107 exam. This 4-day course will prepare you for all elements of the exam. The instructors have decades of experience flying airplanes and helicopters and are well-versed in FAA operations and the Part-107 exam. This course is only open to law enforcement personnel desiring to take the Part-107 exam for the current or future department's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program. After the course is completed, students will have to register on their own to take the Part 107 exam at a certified airport. It is highly recommended to take the exam within a day or two of the course.
